Banana-Berry Fruit Smoothie
1/2 pear, cored
1/4 cup frozen blueberries or frozen mixed berries
1/2 banana, frozen
1 1/4 cup water
1/8 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. skim or soy milk
1 tsp. flaxseed oil (optional)

In a blender, process all the ingredients until thoroughly mixed and serve.
The antioxidants in the blueberries coupled with the additional omega-3s found in the flaxseed oil are beneficial for skin health. Vitamin C (found in citrus fruits and vegetables) and Vitamin E help reduce free radical oxidation that causes skin damage/wrinkles. Omega-3s and Vitamin E (nuts/seeds) help improve skin texture.
