Now you can address all your health needs and get peace of mind in one exam. From preventing heart disease to early cancer detection or managing menopause, our unique Women's Health Exam is designed to for women looking for the latest answers and advice and the convenience of getting everything done in one day.

Your Women's Health exams starts with our Comprehensive Exam where our medical staff thoroughly reviews your medical history, family history and other factors that might contribute to future disease. Your exam includes a 64-Slice CT Coronary Artery Scan. Heart disease is by far the leading cause of death among women and kills more women than all cancers combined. This fast, painless, non-claustrophobic scan can detect the earliest signs of coronary artery disease when it can be easily and effectively treated.

Women's Cancer Screening

Early cancer detection is crucial to protecting your health.

Our Women's Health Exam includes screening Digital Mammography and a Thin-Prep Pap Smear, the most accurate screening for cervical cancer. All our exams also include testing for Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) as part of the Pap Smear. HPV accounts for more than 90% of cervical cancers. This test allows us to determine if you are at high or low risk for cervical cancer. Women who have never been exposed to HPV may be able to have a Pap Smear every 3 years instead of annually.

For those concerned about ovarian or uterine cancer risk, we offer the option of Pelvic Ultrasound. Ultrasound can painlessly and non-invasively detect early signs of many cancers as well as aneurysms, ovarian cysts, endometrial disease and other potentially dangerous conditions.

Bone Densitometry and Body Composition Analysis

Our state-of-the-art DEXA scanner quickly and painlessly measures the calcium content of your bones. Osteoporosis is the leading cause of fractures and hip replacements in post-menopausal women. If you are at risk, we will help you with the dietary, exercise and treatment strategies that will immediately start to strengthen your bones.

The DEXA scan is also the gold-standard for measuring body composition and visceral fat. By precisely measuring muscle and lean body mass, as well as percent body fat, we can individually tailor your fitness and nutritional program as well as identify risk factors for future illness.

Hormonal Health Evaluation

Our experts provide an experienced, proactive approach to managing and preventing osteoporosis, peri-menopausal and menopausal symptoms, breast cancer and more. We can provide the guidance and advice you need to make decisions about natural alternatives to hormone therapy, maximizing your sexuality and lifestyle management. You will spend extensive time with our physicians to ensure you get the answers to your questions.

Our Women's Health Exam will get you started on the path to feeling better, looking younger and having the peace of mind of knowing you are doing all you can for your health.
